Co-founding OneTake Productions
From 2019 to 2022 I co-founded OneTake Productions, a creative agency that made digital content for clients, including more than 100 media productions. I sold my share in 2022 and went freelance.
OneTake Productions was a creative agency that made digital content. I co-founded it in 2019. Over three years it produced more than 100 media productions, each built around what a specific client needed.
My role went beyond the camera. I was also responsible for the accounting and the company’s corporate matters. That meant invoicing, the books and the paperwork that keeps a small firm running.
After three years I sold my share at a profit and started working as a freelancer. That practice is now Lucas Ekblad Tmi, which has taken on about 20 commissioned projects a year since 2023. Running a company before I turned freelance is why I handle quotes, contracts and deadlines the way a client expects.
