Photography for annual balls and gala dinners
I photograph annual balls, gala dinners and banquets: the arrivals in evening dress, the speeches, the long table and the group photos on the steps. I have photographed balls, galas and banquets since 2022.
Student nations, guilds and associations celebrate their annual ball (vuosijuhla, årsfest) in evening dress, with a long dinner and traditions that run all night. I photograph the whole evening, from the arrivals to the last song.
At an academic ball in March 2023 I photographed the evening dress, the banquet table and the group photos on the steps of Akademiska huset. I have also shot galas and awards nights, including the Jussi Awards across several years.
Book early: the season runs from February to May, and the same weekends fill up fast.
