Fashcene Forsaken 2025: event production, Turku
The brief
Fashcene needed a producer and a media team for its 2025 show, Forsaken, at Ruissalon Telakka in Turku. The coverage had to run from before the show, through the night itself, to after it.
What I did
Two documents by Aada Peltoniemi drove the work: a creative brief that set the mood and a technical plan for the venue. From there I split the coverage into pre-event, show day and post-show, and ran a team of more than ten.

Fashcene 2025's 'Forsaken' fashion show in Turku. I produced it, and most of the work was done by me and the team working for me.
Fashcene is a Turku platform that pairs fashion with music and contemporary art in one live event. Forsaken was its fourth edition, held on 20 September 2025 at Ruissalon Telakka, with seven designers, ten live artists and more than fifty models. The first edition, in 2022, filled a parking garage with 250 people.
Most of the 2025 edition was made by me and the people working for me. I coordinated a media team of 10+ photographers and videographers across pre-event, show day and post-show, and I built fashcene.com.
What we produced
- Pre-event: a one-minute hype video, 21 collection videos, five posters (outsourced) and one for the billboard, the käsiohjelma, and posts and banners for Instagram and Lippu.fi
- Show day: a 10-second teaser, sponsor product photos, 20 pre-event photos and an Instagram takeover
- Post-show: seven runway collection videos
The plans
Aada Peltoniemi wrote the two documents that drove the production. Her creative brief set the mood, a southern gothic of deserted villages and dead marshes. Her technical plan turned it into a 71-metre runway with a burned house at its side. The plan pages are in the gallery.
Website
I designed and built fashcene.com in Webflow, with Claude as a writing and SEO partner. It is a permanent home for the brand: the current edition up front, earlier shows archived. The SEO work covered the technical side and the on-page side. Visit fashcene.com →
